Camille Robles is a Puerto Rican mezzo-soprano and an emerging young artist, who will soon be joining the Ryan Opera Center Ensemble 2025/26 at the Lyric Opera of Chicago starting in May 2025. Right now, she is a Jan Miller Studio Artist with Pensacola Opera in Florida, covering the role of Cherubino in their production of Le nozze di Figaro. She graduated from Rice University with her master’s degree in 2024 and received her undergraduate degree from the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music in 2022.

She enjoys getting to explore new places and share her art in different parts of the world. In addition to her love of opera, Camille is passionate about hispanic lyrical genres, championing Puerto Rican opera and art song, as well as Caribbean and Spanish zarzuela.

Recent awards include: Puerto Rico District Winner and Audience Favorite in the Laffont Competition, First Place in the Camille Coloratura Awards, Third Place in the Young Patronesses of the Opera Competition, Carolyn Bailey Argento Fellowship Recipient, New Orleans District Winner, and Gulf Coast Region Encouragement Award; all received in 2024.
